SNHGA is a proud member of USA Gymnastics (USAG) and fields boys and girls teams in the USAG Development Program; girls teams in the Xcel Program and also an In-House Pre-Team. Competing for SNHGA is an honor! For more info or to learn about our tryout process, please email snhgymnastics@gmail.com.
Pre-Team at SNHGA is a stepping stone for boys and girls to competing in gymnastics! Training time is 2 hours per week and focuses on strength and flexibility, as well as perfecting basic skills. Pre-Team gymnasts do not compete in travel competitions but will participate in SNHGA's end-of-year in-house meet in late spring. Most gymnas
Pre-Team at SNHGA is a stepping stone for boys and girls to competing in gymnastics! Training time is 2 hours per week and focuses on strength and flexibility, as well as perfecting basic skills. Pre-Team gymnasts do not compete in travel competitions but will participate in SNHGA's end-of-year in-house meet in late spring. Most gymnasts will spend 1-2 years in the Pre-Team Program before advancing into the Men's or Women's Development Program (DP) or joining Xcel.

The Women’s Development Program (DP), or Junior Olympic as it is still commonly referred as, was created with the belief that all athletes, regardless of their potential, must have a solid foundation of basic skills in order to advance safely. The program allows the gymnast to advance at her own pace.

SNHGA currently competes at Levels 1-6. Practices range from 2-4 times per week for 2-4 hours each night depending on the level. Teams compete at travel competitions against other squads from around the state and region.
Nora Thompson is the head coach for Levels 1, 2 and 3; Laurie Levassuer will coach the Level 4 team and Cole Marchand will lead our Level 5 & 6 groups. Coryn Drown is the SNHGA Team Director.
The Men’s Development Program provides training and competitive opportunities for ages 6 to 18. The Development Program is organized into ten different levels of training or competition. The Men’s Development Program provides training and competitive opportunities for ages 6 to 18. The Development Program is organized into ten different levels of training or competition. Each level has multiple age groups and opportunities for participation and competition. Competition is carried out at the local, state, regional and national levels through USA Gymnastics sanctioned invitational meets and championship level meets.
The SNHGA Boy's Team practices twice per week and the number of training hours vary by level. SNHGA competes at travel competitions against other squads from around the state and region.

The Xcel Program is an alternative USA Gymnastics competitive program offering individual flexibility to coaches and gymnasts. The goal of Xcel is to provide gymnasts of varying abilities and commitment levels the opportunity for a rewarding gymnastics experience.
